Useful, beautiful things, made by us since 1983

Artifaqt makes useful items well and beautifully. We make wood and metal objects for the home, with an emphasis on serveware. Prototypes come to life with wood, clay, chisels, knives and hands in this shop. From there, production paths vary from old school hands to 21st C technology. The finish on our work is pushed to a level of surprise in hopes that people lingering over the touch will sense a greater relation to the materials and craftsmanship. It speaks to our intent for durability and longevity. And it’s fun to see metal mistaken for ceramic.

In addition to wood and metal serveware for home and restaurant use, Artifaqt continues to offer the unique switch plate collection which was our first product, a small selection of handmade furniture and lamps, and other home essentials.
