Spring Harvest Beeswax Candles

• All candles should be burned on a proper flame-resistant surface or holder. Never leave a burning candle unattended!
• Our Asparagus and Carrot Tapers are designed to be dripless. However, any form of draft will cause the candle to drip.
• Trim the wick to 1/4" before each lighting. This will help prevent the candle from flickering and increase the burn time.
• For the Artichoke, burn for at least 2-3 hours per session, to avoid tunneling. Candles have memories! If you don’t allow the wax pool to reach its full diameter it will adversely affect your candle’s burn. As the candle burns down, you can gently fold the upper edges into the wax pool for an even burn. If there is a carbon build up (build up that resembles a little black mushroom), extinguish the candle, cut the wick, and re-light.
• To prevent uneven burning, use a metal tool to center the wick if necessary. To extinguish, dunk the wick into the wax pool and straighten.
• Over time, all beeswax develops a hazy film on its surface. This is called “bloom.” This a sign that your candle is made from pure beeswax. If preferred, it can be gently wiped off with a soft cloth.
