Small Metal Side Bowl - Matte Black
Side bowls for food and fixings that bring understated elegance to the table. The metal bowls are identical in size and profile but sport three different textures – splitwood, hammered metal, and stone. Cast in aluminum using the lost wax method and finished with a hard anodized matte black coating.
Its heft and texture have many mistaking it for ceramic. They would make a fine bowl set and work beautifully with wood and Chef’s Bright serveware.
Care Instructions
Matte Black aluminum should be hand washed with dish soap and towel or air dried only. Any Scotchbite pad or nylon brush is fine if needed. Dishwasher use should be avoided.
Artifaqt Wood Balm can add a protective coating to our black aluminum serveware as well as add luster and help to release food. Preheat the platter in the oven at about 120°F and apply a thin coat of our balm while hot. Then wipe off the balm with a lint-free cloth while still warm. Do not microwave. A quick broil is fine.
