This Romanesco Beeswax Candle showcases the breathtaking, fractal beauty of a romanesco broccoli, hand-picked from Rineer Farms at Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Farmers' Market. Meticulously molded to capture every intricate detail, this candle is hand-poured in our studio using pure beeswax from local Chester County hives. The result is a unique piece that brings a touch of natural artistry to your home.

Beeswax naturally burns cleaner, brighter, hotter, and longer than most choices and does not require chemical processing or additives to enhance these properties. With an inherently pleasant but gentle aroma, beeswax is the perfect choice for the eco-conscious home.

Burning Tips & Instructions

Always burn on a flame-resistant surface. Never leave a candle burning unattended.

To avoid tunneling, burn for at least 2-3 hours per session. Candles have memories! If you don’t allow the wax pool to reach its full diameter it will adversely affect your candle’s burn.

Trim the wick to 1/4" before each lighting. It's important to trim the wick during or immediately after burning your candle. Trimming a cold wick may break the wick off, making relighting it difficult.

As the candle burns down, you can gently fold the upper edges into the wax pool for an even burn. If there is a carbon build up (build up that resembles a little black mushroom), extinguish the candle, cut the wick, and re-light.

To prevent uneven burning, use a metal tool to center the wick if necessary.

To extinguish, dunk the wick into the wax pool and straighten.
