Wood Revitalization Program

After many gatherings around the table with your favorite Artifaqt Wood Serveware, you will most likely notice signs of a life well lived. Knife marks from eagerly slicing into homemade bread, berry stains from your favorite cheeseboard jam or maybe just the inevitable wear and tear from repetitive use. This is natural and some even prefer the look. But if you don’t, we are here to help. We want to maximize the life of every product we make. And most importantly, we want you to enjoy your Artifaqt goods and serve on them with pride.

We've been talking about adding the revitalization service to the website for a long time and providing it to friends and locals in the meantime. Restoration Hardware was our first restaurant client to go with wood in a big way and it really got this program going. So, we are finally rolling it out for all of our customers.

Here’s how it works …

  1. Send us an email at luciano@artifaqt.com with a picture of your Artifaqt Wood Serveware.

  2. We will get back to you shortly after, confirming that we can revitalize your piece. We will also send you a product link where you can easily pay for your restoration. We only charge 15% of the original value to revitalize your piece + the cost of return shipping.

  3. Send your piece back to our shop (or drop it off!). Our address and contact information is at the bottom of the page.

  4. We will restore your piece to as close to new as possible and send it back to you!

  5. The longer you enjoy your Artifaqt serveware, the better … for you, for us, and for the planet.

The board below was in service at a local restaurant for many years. At no point was any wood conditioner or oil applied to the board. Even with this lack of care, as you can see, we were able to bring the board back to life.

Although we hope your board never gets to this point, and with a little love and the occasional coat of Artifaqt Balm it never will, you can see the miracle of a little woodshop rehabilitation.

Please call or email us if you have any questions or concerns!

You know that wood never dies.
