Sam Kennedy is a cheese maker from the picturesque region of Southern Chester County, with a focus on sustainable farming and grass-fed agriculture, he has successfully developed numerous award-winning cheeses.  He uses his formal education in culinary arts and multiple years of experience as a chef to bring a style to cheese making that is uniquely his own. His travels have inspired him to pursue the study of regional food culture and local agricultural systems. While studying the culinary traditions and preservation techniques of many food regions he has developed a style that uses this depth of knowledge and sustainably grown local ingredients sourced seasonally whenever he steps into the kitchen.

Artifaqt has been quietly making beautiful, useful things on Main St in Phoenixville since 1983. As part of our recent efforts to become less quiet, we would like to welcome you to a tour of our facilities on First Fridays. We’ve done many spontaneous tours over the years and they’re always a hit. We work in wood and metal, mold making, cold casting and metal grinding and polishing. It’s our livelihood and our passion and we love to talk about it.

We can accommodate 2 groups of 10 each First Friday of the month. Group size needs to be limited for safety and enjoyment so please reserve your space at your preferred time with free tickets.

Tours begin at 6:30 pm and 8 pm in the Artifaqt Market on the corner of Main St and Prospect.

Tour involves stairs.

Please call with any questions at 610-935-0920.
